How Hubble Space Telescope can see distant galaxy but not Pluto of our solar system | Hegtools

hubble telescope

The Hubble Space Telescope has also shown the beauty of the universe. Through the Hubble Space Telescope, we have seen detailed images of the beautiful Galaxies, but with the help of this telescope, can we see Pluto, a dwarf planet in our solar system. The Hubble Space Telescope is a state-of-the-art telescope. Through this, we have seen many such Galaxies, which are many millions of light-years away from us. But in today's, we will know why this space telescope helps us to see many more light-years in the universe.

Through it, we cannot clearly see the objects present behind Neptune, which is the transneptunian objects, which exist in our own solar system. The Hubble Space Telescope mounted a two-point four-meter primary mirror and four main instruments in it are helping it see the ultraviolet-visible and near-infrared electromagnetic spectrum. Through which we can see any galaxy nebula or star in a different spectrum. Which gives us a lot of detail about that region.

As you can see in these majors, in which there is not much visible near this nebula in visible light, but when we look in the infrared spectrum, we can clearly see other stars behind this nebula. So in this way Hubble gives a different view of our universe. January 5, 2015, NASA and the European Space Agency released the largest and most relative image of the Andromeda Galaxy so far.

andomeda galaxy

This image is a cropped part of the full image and in this part about one point nine billion pixels. The size of this image is 69,536 x 22,230 Pixels. This section shows us the stars gas clouds women present in the part of the Andromeda Galaxy about 40 thousand light-years. The full size of this image is 4.3GHz byte. And the open table of the Andromeda Galaxy is so big that in order to see that entire image together, you have to add around 600 HD televisions together, then you will be able to see that whole picture in full resolution. If you want to download this image, then the link will be found in the description below.

But remember, to see this image in the original size, you must have a good computer. Now it shows us the power of the Hubble Space Telescope, which can take such a detailed image of the galaxy that is about 2.5 million light-years away from us. This image is not taken together in such a hold, rather it is created by combining hundreds of images taken by Hubble. But why the Hubble Space Telescope can take so clear images of the Andromeda Galaxy about 2.5 million light-years away from us. But does not able to take clear images of transneptunian objects like Pluto. Well, the answer is very simple but I would like that if you understand the answer yourself well, Andromeda Galaxy, also known as” Messier 31 ”, is more than double the size of our Milky Way Galaxy.

Our Milky Way Galaxy is spread over one lakh light-years, that is, the diameter of our Milky Way Galaxy is about one million light-years. At the same time, Andromeda Galaxy is spread over 2 lakh 20 thousand years. Its size is very large. If we could see its full brightness in the night sky, it would have seen us about 6 times larger than the moon. Yes, its size is really big and that is why we can see it in so much detail. Not only Andromeda but we have seen a detailed view of other galaxies. Not only, Andromeda, but we have also seen detailed images of many galaxies.

This is a spiral galaxy ( ‘Messier 101’ ) which is about 20 million light-years away from us. But it is much larger than our Milky Way Galaxy in size. The Pin Veil Galaxy ( “ Messier 101 ”) is spread over one lakh 90 thousand light-years and if we could see it in full bytes in the night sky, it would have seen us almost as big as the size of the moon, despite being so far away from us. Yes and for that reason, we can see it in so much detail, so now you must have got a lot of ideas why we are not able to get a sharp image of Pluto. If you don't understand well, then we use angles to measure the size of any more visible in the night sky, and its size is called angular size and size then the degree to measure the regular size And arc minutes ( 1/60degrees ) and arc seconds ( 1/60 minutes or 1/3600 degrees ) are used.

Our nearest neighborhood, That is, our moon, having an angular size of 0.5 degrees or, say, 31 arc minutes. The angle size of our sun is 32 arc minutes or, say, 0.53 degrees. At the same time, Andromeda Galaxy which is about 2.5 million light-years away from us, its regular size is three degrees and pinwheel Galaxy is 20 million light-years away from us, having an angular size of 28 arc minutes.

pluto

But now to talk about Pluto, the angle size of Pluto is about 0.11 arc second. That is, its size is very small, so what difference does it make. The camera is mounted in the Hubble Space Telescope. The W803 is a two wide-field camera with three candles and a resolution. The 0.04 arc second, i.e a single-pixel 0.04 arc second of the Hubble camera encapsulates an angle of 0.04 arc seconds and the size of Pluto is just0.11 arc seconds which is less than three pixels in Hubble's view. That is, Pluto is very small, but at the same time, we can see the planets close to our solar system, which is close to it and also large in size.

Even though the Galaxy is far away from us, but they are very large in size and that is why I am able to take a sharper image of the Galaxy located far away from me. But Pluto in our solar system is not able to see it properly and that is why the scientist had sent the New Horizons spacecraft to Pluto so that we can see it properly.

The Mars - Red Planet | Some quick facts about Mars

Mars is the fourth planet from the sun and second-smallest planet of our solar system. Mars is a red dusty, cold desert world. Mars is also called the Red planet because of rusty iron on its surface. This world is full of mystery and some of the solar system's most extreme geology. Like Earth , Mars also has seasons variation , polar ice , mountains , volcanoes, canyons and weather. Its atmosphere is very thin which is made up of carbon dioxide , nitrogen, and argon. There are signs of water existing , but now mostly water exists in the form icy dirt and thin clouds. The evidence of salty water is present on some martian hillsides. sciencetist still think life was possible on Mars in the past. They also want to know about the existence of life on Mars in future. One of the most explored bodies in our solar system is Mars. It is the only place humans have sent rovers to roam alien landscapes. If we talk About India's space agency ISR...

Origin of Universe - The Big Bang theory

Big bang first explained by Georges Lemaître in 1927. Big bang is a idea how our universe , milky way galaxy , solar system and our beautiful blue planet earth originate. Before big bang many theory attempted to explain origin of universe, but they did't present strong proof, Big bang is most accepted theory. Some of them are :- 1. Theory of spontaneous generation According to this theory , life comes from decaying and rotting matter like straw , mud etc. 2. Theory of panspermia According to Early Greek thinker unit of life (spores) were transferred to different planet. What is Big bang? According to Georges Lemaître , 13.8 billions years ago universe started as a single point. He also said universe is expanded to get as big it is now and keep expanding. More about Big Bang Just two year later , a astronomer Edwin Hubble noticed that some other galaxy , and planets moving away from us. This means universe still expanding according to lemaitre. Today what...
